Have you seen those great posters on PSC campuses that promote reading and feature PSC staff members with their favorite books? Those are the handy work of Bill Fitzgerald!
“I enrolled at PJC in 1994 when I retired from 23 years of service in the Navy. I received my AA in 1997. That same year, I started working at the Warrington library and I have been here ever since. I feel fortunate to work in a supportive environment with great colleagues; the Warrington library has benefitted from the interest that President Meadows and PSC Administration have shown in providing top-notch facilities for students (and the community) here. My love of the job and PJC/PSC put furthering my education on hold for about 15 years. In 2012, I ran out of excuses for not continuing my education so I enrolled in Pensacola State College’s baccalaureate program (Organizational Administration) and received scholarship support to help offset class costs. Last month I graduated with honors. Hopefully, if all goes as planned, I will be attending Troy University in the Fall or Spring to pursue my Master’s.”
