Nonprofit or community agencies wanting to shift their organizations into high gear are invited to attend “The Nonprofit Accelerator.”

Set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 27 at the Studer Community Institute Building at 220 W Garden St., the event’s goal is to help organizations work smarter to maximize their impact.

Topics to be covered include fundraising, collaborating, measuring impact, managing funds and more. The event is hosted by Pensacola Community Action Network, a nonprofit organization that helps “caring” people turn great ideas into action.

Presenters include Robin Reshard, Kukua Institute; Cathy Brown, The Fundraising School; Tom Hutchings, Pensacola CAN; Michelle Salzman, Salz Studio; and several others.  Brigette Brooks, president of Impact 100, will deliver a special lunch presentation.

The event is also a great opportunity for those looking to form a nonprofit group or start a community project, with valuable information necessary to manage a successful organization or project.
