With thirteen years of experience as a fund development professional, Cassie has contributed to the transformative impact of philanthropy across multiple nonprofit organizations. Born in Pensacola, Cassie grew up in Lillian, Alabama and graduated from the University of South Alabama.
Prior to coming to the Pensacola State College Foundation, Cassie Redmyer was the Senior Director of Philanthropy for the College of Aviation at the Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach campus. In her tenure at Embry-Riddle, she raised over $20 million for scholarships and another $5 million for program support. She also helped initiate several alumni affinity groups and create a corporate engagement program to help support student organizations across campus.
Cassie has also been a Major Gifts Officer for the National Flight Academy, an immersive aviation educational program that is part of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation located aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida. During her time with the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation, Cassie worked with both individuals and corporate entities in various fundraising capacities to include capital campaigns and curriculum program development, resulting in the completion of a $2 million capital campaign to complete the outfitting of the National Flight Academy facility. Previous to her time at the National Flight Academy, Cassie served as the Director of Development and Operations at the Sturgeon City Environmental Education Center located in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
