Beginning in 2024, the Pensacola State College Foundation will welcome new board members Adrienne Maygarden of the Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation, Ed Carson of Carson Lovell Inc., Kendrick Doidge of HCA Florida West Hospital, and Mike Craney.
Adrienne Maygarden, who serves as President of the Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation, has been with her organization since 2015 when she first joined as its Foundation Director. In her role, she leads fundraising activities and forges strategic partnerships at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospitals across the Gulf Coast.
Adrienne is a graduate of Leadership Pensacola and Ascension’s national ASPIRE leadership program and was the 2020 Pinnacle recipient of the Turnbull Award from 850 Business Magazine. Well-versed in nonprofit leadership, marketing, finance, and strategic planning, Adrienne looks forward to sharing her strengths with fellow board members and the PSC Foundation.
Ed Carson, President of Carson Lovell Inc., has been involved in parking solutions and construction management for over forty years. First beginning in the Miami area, his impressive career led him to Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, where he has helped facilitate countless community projects and has been accredited through organizations such as Leadership Santa Rosa, Pensacola Rotary Club, Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities, the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, and more.
Ed brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in finance, fundraising, networking, and community engagement with him to the PSC Foundation Board of Governors.
Kendrick Doidge, Vice President of Business Relations for HCA Florida West Hospital, is a healthcare professional with over twenty years of experience in administration, marketing, and community building. In his role, Kendrick is instrumental in the growth and development of inpatient, surgical, and emergency room resources at HCA Florida West. His expertise in cultivating engagement and relationships extend to his endeavors with volunteer program management and business health initiatives.
Deeply involved in the Pensacola community, Kendrick is an active board member for United Way and First Place Partners and is part of the Northwest Florida Mental Health Task Force. He aspires to further the PSC Foundation’s efforts through his experience in various facets of nonprofit leadership, marketing, advocacy, and strategic planning.
Mike Craney is a lifelong Pensacolian and former professor at Pensacola State College who knows the importance of PSC and its necessity in providing accessibility to affordable and quality education. With a decorated history in business and marketing as a former lecturer at the PSC College of Business and three-time President and current Treasurer of the American Advertising Federation, Mike is an esteemed marketing leader.
Mike is a founding member of the Krewe of St. Patrick and serves as a lector and eucharistic minister at Our Lady of the Assumption Mission. He eagerly awaits the opportunity to give back to the College as a member of the Board of Governors and welcomes the opportunity to contribute to PSC’s vital role in our community.
With the addition of these four outstanding members, the Pensacola State College Board of Governors boasts remarkable community leaders focused on helping the College grow.
