Candy Winter, General Accounting Specialist, joined the College in January. In the few months since her start, Candy has committed herself to becoming an involved supporter of PSC.
“The thing I first noticed when I joined Pensacola State College was that I really felt at home,” Candy explained. “I felt immediately welcomed, which made me enjoy my position even more.”
In addition to the welcoming culture of the College, Candy shared her delight with the Spring professional development day, where doors were open to networking and growth.
At her orientation in the beginning of the year, Candy joined the PSC affinity group, Friends of Culinary Arts. As a former restauranter of an Italian eatery in Jacksonville, Candy felt compelled to support PSC’s culinary arts students. This month, at the annual Sip, Savor & Support employee giving event, Candy chose to donate to performing and visual arts students through their respective affinity groups. “I’m incredibly fortunate to have this position and be able to give back to our students,” she said.
