McKenzie Cooper photograph.

Originally from Panama City, Florida, McKenzie graduated from Bay High School before moving to Pensacola to attend the University of West Florida and has called Pensacola home ever since. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies with minors in Marketing and Public Administration. During her undergraduate years, McKenzie was active in Kappa Delta Sorority, College Panhellenic Council, and Delta Sigma Pi, and served as President of Order of Omega. Through her involvement in student organizations and service initiatives, her love for philanthropy grew.

McKenzie went on to earn her Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership from the University of West Florida, where her thesis focused on corporate social responsibility, reflecting her interest in pursuing a career in nonprofit development and connecting people with causes that make a difference. With a professional background in marketing, communications, and special event planning, she brings those skills to the Pensacola State College Foundation, facilitating fundraising campaigns, developing sponsorship opportunities, strengthening donor engagement, building alumni and affinity group relationships, and coordinating Foundation events. She also helps showcase the Foundation’s impact on PSC students, the College, and the community.

Outside of work, McKenzie enjoys going to the beach, exploring Pensacola’s food scene, and spending time with her 11-pound Shih-Poo, Teagan-Gray, whom she adores.
