For nearly eight years, Kim Burrows, an Admissions Coordinator at Pensacola State College, has had the privilege of being both the first and last point of contact for many students—welcoming them as they begin their journey and celebrating with them as they prepare to graduate.
“I am passionate about Pensacola State College because I love seeing people reach their dreams, goals, and ambitions,” Kim shared. “I’m fortunate in my position because I get to see the excitement in students’ eyes as they take their first steps toward higher education, and then later, I get to see them beam with joy as they prepare to walk the stage at graduation.”
That unique perspective is what inspires Kim to give back to the College through the PSC Foundation. “I want to make a difference,” she explained. “I believe in giving, even if it’s just a little. Every contribution counts. It helps students access the equipment and supplies they need to further their education and enables instructors to provide a quality learning experience.”
For Kim, being an employee donor is about more than giving—it’s about investing in student success and fueling the dreams she has the privilege of witnessing every day.
