In her role at the Foundation, Mikenzie has spent the past six and a half years building relationships with generous donors and connecting them with students.

Mikenzie’s passion for PSC is rooted in her unwavering commitment to expanding opportunity. “I believe deeply in the power of education, and I am proud that Pensacola State College provides students with access to affordable, quality education,” she shared. “Beyond serving our students and our community, I feel privileged to work with our generous PSC Foundation donors. Learning their stories, helping them honor the legacies of loved ones, and supporting their lasting impact is both rewarding and humbling.”

Her decision to become a donor was influenced by her own experience as a scholarship recipient. “As someone whose own college education was made possible by scholarship support, I feel fortunate to pay it forward by helping lessen the financial barriers for other students,” Mikenzie said. “I see the many responsibilities our students are juggling alongside school, including work, family, and other personal obstacles. I hope to help our students achieve their educational and professional aspirations while reminding them that there are people rooting for their success and recognizing their hard work.”

Every day, Mikenzie helps create life-changing opportunities for PSC students. Through both her work at the PSC Foundation and her charitable giving, she continues the cycle of generosity that once helped bring her educational goals to fruition.
