Every part of Rachael Knorr’s work at Pensacola State College ultimately comes back to one thing: helping create better opportunities for students. After three and a half years as part of the PSC family, she has experienced the College from two very different perspectives—first in Academic and Student Affairs, where she worked directly with students, and now in Facilities, where she helps support the spaces and projects across PSC campuses that make their educational experiences possible.
“What makes me passionate about PSC is seeing the impact the College has on our students and our community,” Rachael shares. “Whether it’s supporting students directly or working behind the scenes, I love knowing that the work we do has real purpose.”
Her experience across different areas of the College has given Rachael an appreciation for the many people and departments working together, like cogs in a well-oiled machine, to support student success. She says the relationships she has built with colleagues across campuses have been one of the most meaningful parts of her PSC experience. Now, she is extending that commitment to students through philanthropy.
“I donate because I know that even a small contribution can become part of something much bigger when everyone comes together,” Rachael says. “There are so many different needs across the College, and I like knowing that my contribution is one small way I can give back and help provide opportunities for our students.”
To Rachael, becoming an employee donor is another way to invest in the students she has spent her career supporting.
