Navy Federal Credit Union has preserved its commitment to put members first through investing in Pensacola State College and the surrounding community. In 2018, they established the Navy Federal Credit Union Scholarship—an annual fund to assist students who are active-duty military, a veteran, or a military dependent and who have been Navy Federal Credit Union members for at least three years.
In addition to scholarships at PSC, Navy Federal Credit Union employees have donated their time and talents through service on the PSC Foundation Board of Governors, volunteer efforts at annual events, and sponsorship of fundraising efforts. Most recently, their support has included participation in annual “I am PSC” campaigns and sponsorship of the 18th Annual Day of Clays Tournament.
Over their nearly two decades of philanthropic support at PSC, Navy Federal Credit Union has supported countless military students, and their family members, like Navy Federal Credit Union Scholarship recipient, Naomi (pictured above).
“I currently work as a certified corrections officer,” Naomi shares. “I would like to transfer to probation and parole, but I must earn a degree first. Without the generosity of scholarship benefactors such as yourself, I would not have the means to attend school. Thank you so much for helping me.”
