For more than two decades, the Cantonment Rotary Club has supported Pensacola State College students through scholarships. Holding a total of six endowments at PSC, the Club strives to impact students of various fields of study. This winter, the Club pledged to participate in the inaugural “I am PSC” campaign with a generous $10,000 gift, matched dollar-for-dollar by the PSC Foundation, to one of their existing endowments.
The Cantonment Rotary Club Culinary Endowed Scholarship, established in 2005, is awarded annually to deserving students of the PSC Molly McGuire School of Culinary Arts at a special scholarship luncheon. Recipients each year have the opportunity to dine with Club members, sharing their career aspirations and goals.
The Cantonment Rotary Club eagerly awaits the change that their gift to the “I am PSC” campaign will make for students. Starting as an $11,800 endowment, their scholarship has tripled in size through their contribution and matching dollars.
