For over eight years, Marcy has been a dedicated member of the Pensacola State College family. She currently serves as a Technology Support Technician and plays a vital role behind the scenes to ensure students, faculty, and staff have the tools they need to thrive. But her impact doesn’t stop there—Marcy is also a proud employee donor, choosing to support the very students whose lives are shaped daily by PSC’s mission.

“It’s a school with a strong community focus, a rich history, and a commitment to student success,” Marcy shared. Her passion for the College is rooted in what makes PSC truly special: its deep community roots, affordable and accessible pathways to higher education, and the diverse academic and technical programs available to students of all backgrounds.

After witnessing the impact that scholarships can have within her own family, Marcy’s decision to pay it forward came from her heart. Her daughter, Elizabeth, has an education that has been made possible through scholarship support. “I am inspired to give back because I know that not everyone can afford to come to college without scholarships,” Marcy said. “I like that we have scholarships to help those going through rehab programs and those who may not be pursuing a degree but are looking to learn a technical skill.” With admiration for PSC’s strong transfer and career outcomes, Marcy’s support is a reflection of her belief in creating opportunity for all students—whether they’re earning a degree, gaining a trade, or finding a second chance.
