Eden first joined Pensacola State College in March of 2022, transitioning from part-time to full-time in October of last year. She shared that the “sense of belonging and community” that exists at the College is among one of the reasons she fell in love with it. “We’re all here trying to help our students, faculty, and community, and we work together to support each other in the process.”
Since the moment she joined the Pirate family, Eden says she was “welcomed and encouraged” with open arms. What she loves most, however, is the “opportunity to help others while being a part of a collaborative community”.
Through her love of PSC, Eden chooses to pass along her blessings by giving back to the College. “Each person possesses immense potential, but sometimes we need help,” she states. “Donating is another way that I can help support the students and our PSC community achieve great things.”
She believes that acts of kindness promote a chain of kindness that can grow to support a larger community. “When I help others,” Eden explains, “…that investment compounds as each person improves in their own way. If a person then becomes able to and chooses to help someone else later in their journey, then greater accomplishments manifest over time in our local and global communities.”
