Tiffany Jocson has been a part of the Pensacola State College family for almost a year, joining the Warrington campus as an Academic Administrative Assistant in the College’s Nursing Department. Like many employees at PSC, Tiffany’s love for the College first began as a student.
“I always felt like Pensacola State College sincerely cared about the community and the students,” Tiffany stated. “When I was a student at Pensacola State, the staff were so wonderful and so willing to help me succeed. Now it’s my turn to help students at PSC excel.”
Tiffany expressed that learning and education have long been her personal passions, another reason that she fell in love with PSC. “My love has always been higher education, which is why I’ve worked in education for well over a decade now. Having that special experience as a student and then as a PSC alumnus, I always knew that at some point I’d return after graduation to come work for the College.”
In addition to helping PSC students during her day-to-day activities at Warrington, Tiffany helps support students by giving back to the PSC Molly McGuire School of Culinary Arts.
“My son, Spencer, was my inspiration to donate,” Tiffany shared. “He completed two years of culinary education while he was in high school and he absolutely loves to cook, try new recipes, and experiment with different foods. He’s now in the culinary program at Pensacola State and is so excited for his first semester. His passion for good cuisine was a huge inspiration for me to give. I want to help the next generation of Pensacola chefs thrive, and giving back to PSC is one small way I can help them achieve their dreams.”
