Dr. Kylie Henderson, Assessment Coordinator for Baccalaureate Studies and Academic Support, has been with Pensacola State College for 6 years. One of her greatest joys during her journey at PSC has been the opportunity to witness students achieve their ambitions.
“What I love about working at the College is how rewarding it is to see students achieve their educational goals,” Kylie shares. Her belief in education’s transformative power radiates through her work.
Beyond her professional role, Kylie volunteers with the Foundation for annual events. She champions the Foundation’s work saying, “I believe in the cause.” Emphasizing the unity she finds among fellow volunteers who share her desire to make a difference, she says “It’s very rewarding to volunteer with peers who are just as passionate about helping others.”
In addition to supporting the College and the PSC Foundation, Kylie has been streamlining the curriculum frameworks for the 2024 Nonprofit Center Certification Program.
“I like the idea of helping others help others,” she reflects. “Working toward a goal of empowering nonprofits be successful in their endeavors is very uplifting.” Her effort to aid coworkers, students, and nonprofits is a crucial part of the ripple effect she has on others as she aspires to be a positive influence. Above all, she hopes that her contributions “positively impact the lives of others”.
