On Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 the Information Technology Association of the Gulf Coast, Inc. (IT Gulf Coast) presented Pensacola State College (PSC) with a generous gift of $5,000 – of their $20,000 pledge – to establish a new scholarship fund as part of the Your Community, Your Legacy Campaign. PSC cybersecurity and mathematics faculty gathered with IT Gulf Coast Board Members in the Baars Technology Building to celebrate the exciting opportunity for students.
IT Gulf Coast is a volunteer-staffed organization that promotes business and technology by providing social, networking, and educational opportunities to the Gulf Coast community.
The Information Technology Association of the Gulf Coast, Inc. Endowed Scholarship was established as a direct extension of the organization’s good work. The award will benefit cybersecurity, STEM, biological sciences, and mathematics students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher with awards up to $500 per year. Recipients must also demonstrate a financial need for supplemental funding and be a United States citizen.
