“The scholarships I received have helped me tremendously. I was working full-time and attending college full-time. Scholarships eased the financial burden of higher education and allowed me to focus on my studies. After graduation I will be staying at Pensacola State College to work towards my bachelor’s degree in business. I would also like to minor or double major in mathematics. However, one thing at a time! In this picture, I was in the Army handling a future Military Working Dog (MWD) that was in the ‘puppy program.’ This was the last MWD I handled in the Army before being medically discharged.”

“The scholarships I received during my time at PSC were a tremendous help. This support allowed me to study more and stress less about funding my classes. These awards are such a blessing and I cannot thank the generous donors enough.  After graduating from PSC in December, I plan to continue my studies by earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.”

“I am extremely grateful for the scholarships I received while attending PSC as a nursing student. This financial support made my college experience much easier. As I gear up for graduation from PSC this winter, I hope to soon obtain a position at a local hospital as a Registered Nurse. I also plan to further my education through the Bachelor of Nursing program at PSC in January 2021!”

“These scholarships have helped me go to school with no financial stress.  These scholarships have helped me avoid having student debt when I graduate!  After I receive my degree from Pensacola State College, I am going to the University of West Florida to further expand my knowledge in Elementary Education.”

“Thank you so much for the extra financial assistance this past semester. Fall 2020 was my final semester of nursing school and I am so excited to graduate! I am three months pregnant so the unexpected cost of buying larger school uniforms recently came up and your support helped me immensely. I am so blessed to have an opportunity to pursue the career that I’ve been dreaming of all my life. Thank you again for awarding me the 40 & 8 Nursing Scholarship!”

“I was able to finish my last semester of nursing school because of your generosity. Without your help, it would have been nearly impossible for me to continue my education. I am 20 years old and I am a first-generation college student. I chose nursing because I have been touched by so many wonderful nurses in my life and I have always dreamed about caring for people. I have lived in Pensacola my whole life and I plan on working at an area hospital so I can continue living in our great city. I will be graduating in December. I am extremely happy that I am about to graduate college. I am very excited for this new chapter in my life to begin. I am beyond grateful for everything you have done to help me achieve my goals. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”
